Strip cartoons 2 – The Flying Suitcase
Materials:
- Overhead projector
- Screen
- Transparencies, in different colours, if desired.
- Felt tip pen for overhead transparency.
- Drawing paper
- Pencils and erasers
- The group shares out the scenes and illustrations in a way that covers the entire fairy tale.
- Each pupil makes sketches on paper. All the group’s rough sketches are displayed and discussed.
- The pupils then transfer the sketches to transparencies.
- The fairy tale is shown -perhaps accompanied by narration which can be recorded on tape, and preferably with sound effects to approach the cartoon media.
