 The Flying Suitcase – Strip cartoons 1

Materials:

  • Drawing paper Pencil
  • Indian ink and pens Ruler
  • Colours, if desired
  1. The group collectively creates a strip cartoon.
  2. The group shares out the scenes and ag­rees on a number of pictures. Rough sketches are made and discussed. The paper must be divided into sections, and the drawing can begin. (All texts in the cartoon strip should, if possible, be in English).
  3. Black and white drawings are preferable -for copying and distribution purposes.

About strip cartoons in general:

In order to get the most out of the work with strip cartoons as a media, it is necessary to introduce the pupils to its expression forms, effects and genres. Suitable teaching materials are available in various languages so this subject will not be dealt with in this material.
